What currencies are accepted?

We buy and sell metals only in UAE Dirham (AED), the local currency of the United Arab Emirates.

Can I use someone else’s credit card if my card is not working?

We accept payment from customers only if the name on the card and the profile name in the member account match. We also process your order only if your order is made in your name, which is reflected in your invoice.

If we find any mismatch in the name we will hold the order and communicate via email to the customer for clarification.

Can I pay cash for my orders?

If you have made the purchase through our online portal, cash is not accepted in that case.

What is the 3% surcharge on credit card payments?

The 3% surcharge is due to the priority handling of your order. This allows for your payment to arrive instantly as normal wire transfers take up to 2-3 days to reach us. This also allows us to approve your orders instantly, preventing any price fluctuations.

Which payment methods are accepted at AB Metals FZCO?

We accept the following payment methods:

AB Metals FZCO Pay
Pay via payment link

Can I change my payment method?

For all your orders, you can choose between the following payment methods:

Wire transfer
Credit Card (VISA and MasterCard)
AB Metals FZCO Pay
Pay via payment link

Please note that once your order is placed and confirmed, your payment method cannot be changed anymore.

What will happen if AB Metals FZCO does not receive the full amount of my wire transfer order?

If AB Metals FZCO does not receive the full amount as per the order, AB Metals will not validate the order.. Kindly note all banking or commission fees, as well as currency rates, are borne by the customers. AB Metals will be in constant communication with the customer to proceed further via registered email.

After Selling my products on AB Metals FZCO, when will I receive the money in my account?

Once the sale is completed, the amount of metal sold will immediately reflect in your “My Wallet”. You will then be able to make a withdrawal to your bank account. We will proceed with the transfer within the next 72 hours and share the transfer slip on your registered email ID.

How can I store my precious metals in the AB Metals FZCO vaults?

When placing your order, simply select the “Insured Storage” option in your cart, and we will directly store your precious metals in our secure vaults. Your list of the stored products will then be directly accessible on the “My storage” of your online account. Note that AB Metals only stores products that are bought from our platform, and once delivered, these products can no longer be stored in our vault.

How do I pay my storage fees to AB Metals FZCO?

AB Metals FZCO will debit your credit card for the storage fees and send you a monthly invoice.
